About Teddy

I started to play chess seriously during the pandemic and became totally absorbed in it. I like the way it helps me to organize my thinking and break down problems.

When I'm not playing chess, you will probably find me running along the water or on Marin's beautiful network of trails. I was a member of Redwood’s cross country and track teams for four years, and I’m currently training for a marathon, which I hope to complete this fall.

In addition to running, I also enjoy biking, music, movies, and especially traveling. Recently, my family went to a wedding in Jordan, and it was a fantastic experience.

I really love working with kids and teaching them chess, and I look forward to continuing to teach when I go to college in the fall.
